About Your Therapist

Vanessa Cheatwood of Monrovia Massage Therapy has been a licensed massage therapist since 2003 and has lived and worked in beautiful Monrovia, CA since 2010.  She began her bodywork career with a 1,000-hr program in New York and has worked extensively in private practice, wellness centers, high-end spas, and on concert tours worldwide.

She treats chronic pain and stress and encourages wellness using a variety of both Eastern and Western techniques and bodywork modalities. Each session is fully customized to the individual client using communication and therapeutic intuition. 

In addition to her private massage clientele, she has taught massage therapy, business, and ethics at the Hands on Healing Institute in Los Angeles. In 2026, her care offerings are expanding into postpartum doula work and infant massage instruction.
